i2CAT is proud to announce that it will be hosting the 2020 edition of the ACM International Conference on Interactive Media Experiences (ACM TVX) from 17 to 20 June, 2020, in Barcelona. i2CAT researchers Sergi Fernández and Mario Montagud, along with CWI researcher Pablo Cesar, will serve as general chairs of the conference organizing committee. The announcement was made during ACM TVX 2019, held last month in Manchester (UK).

The international conference for presentation and discussion of research into online video and TV interaction and user experience (UX) will bring together international researchers and practitioners from a wide range of disciplines, ranging from human-computer interaction, multimedia engineering and design to media studies, media psychology and sociology.  After several successful editions in cities such as Brussels, Chicago and Seoul, ACM TVX will head to Cornellà (Barcelona) for a packed programme featuring long and short research papers, workshops, demos, a doctoral consortium, work in progress, industry talks, keynotes, and social and networking activities. The TVX community will meet at Citilab, an old factory converted into a lab for citizen innovation with a variety of spaces for collaborating and exchanging ideas.
