PHP Web Developer

Purpose of Job:

I2CAT is a Internet technological center currently offering a position as PHP Web Developer in a recently started innovation project. The position is to be integrated in a multidisciplinary team developing a new project in the area of energy efficiency.

Minimum academic required:

• Computer Science MsC or equivalent

Minimum experience required:

• More than 3 years.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in PHP and SQL with frameworks (CodeIgniter, Symfony, Zend, etc.)
• Proven experience in Web Services, SOAP, Ajax, JavaScript and jQuery.
• Ability to work well under pressure and within a team.
• Fuent English communication skills - verbal and written.
• International experience is required.

Valuable technical skills:

• Basic communication skills in Catalan and/or Spanish.
• Knowledge of C++, XHTML, CSS3 and MVC.
• Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics.
• Machine learning and data mining using statistical analysis.
• Web design experience is a plus
